في ختام اجتماعات جمعيته العامة، أعلن المجلس الأفريقي للزعماء الدينيين حزمة من القرارات والمواقف المناصرة لقضية السودان، عبّر فيها عن بالغ قلقه من تفاقم النزاع وما ترتب عليه من نزوح جماعي، وانتهاك حرمة الموتى، وانهيار مؤسسات الدولة، وتفكك النسيج الاجتماعي.
وأكد المجلس، برئاسة مولانا نصر الدين مفرح، أن معاناة الشعب السوداني تستدعي تحركاً عاجلاً وموحداً من قادة الأديان في أفريقيا، مشدداً على دورهم في الدفع نحو سلام شامل وعادل يقوده أصحاب المصلحة المحليون. وعليه اصدر المجلس عدد من القرارات.

وعليه، نقرر ما يلي:
أ) إجراء تقييم مستقل ومعمق للنزاع، بما يشمل دوافعه الجيوسياسية والاقتصادية، لا سيما استغلال الموارد المعدنية.
ب) التصدي لانتشار المعلومات المضللة وخطاب الكراهية، خصوصاً عبر وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، من خلال تعزيز التواصل الصادق والمسؤول.
ج) الانخراط المباشر والأخلاقي مع القادة الرئيسيين في النزاع، الفريق أول عبد الفتاح البرهان ومحمد حمدان دقلو “حميدتي”، وإشراك قادة دينيين ذوي تأثير على الأطراف المتحاربة.
د) تنسيق جهود المناصرة مع الاتحاد الإفريقي، والأمم المتحدة، والمنظمات الدينية، والبعثات الدبلوماسية، لدفع عملية سلام إفريقية شاملة يقودها أصحاب المصلحة المحليون.
هـ) تعبئة جميع الطوائف الدينية لإحياء “اليوم القاري للصلاة والصوم” في ٢١ سبتمبر، الموافق اليوم الدولي للسلام، مصحوباً بمسيرات سلام ورسائل مشتركة للمصالحة. ويجب الترويج لهذا اليوم على نطاق واسع بدءاً من الآن لضمان تعبئة جميع الأطراف المعنية لإنجاحه.
و) يقرر المجلس الدخول في مفاوضات معمقة تهدف إلى إطلاق حملة سلام شاملة للسودان، مدعومة بحملات مناصرة رقمية تستهدف الشباب وتدفعهم للمشاركة الفاعلة في نشر رسائل السلام والمصالحة.
ز) تقديم الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي وبرامج التعافي من الصدمات للاجئين السودانيين والنازحين داخلياً، بالتعاون مع الوكالات الإنسانية.
ح) يدين المجلس أعمال العنف والتشهير، ويؤكد التزامه بتكثيف الجهود لتوجيه المساعدات الإنسانية إلى السودان ومخيمات اللاجئين الأخرى، لضمان حصول المتضررين على الإغاثة في الوقت المناسب والرعاية الكريمة.
3. *Resolutions on the Sudan Crisis*
We express our profound alarm at the worsening conflict in Sudan, which has led to mass
displacement, the tragic loss of countless lives, and the desecration and mistreatment of the dead,
the collapse of governance, and deep social fragmentation. The suffering of the Sudanese people
compels urgent, united action from Africa’s religious leaders.
We therefore resolve to:
a) Undertake an independent and in-depth assessment of the conflict, including its
geopolitical and economic drivers, notably the exploitation of minerals.
b) Counter the spread of misinformation and hate speech, particularly via social media, by
promoting truthful and responsible communication.
c) Engage directly and morally with the principal conflict leaders, General Abdel Fattah alBurhan and Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hemedti”, and involve respected religious leaders
with influence over the warring factions.
d) Coordinate advocacy with the African Union, the United Nations, faith-based
organizations, and diplomatic missions to advance an African-led, inclusive peace process.
e) Mobilize all faith communities for a Continental Day of Prayer and Fasting on 21
September, International Day of Peace, accompanied by peace walks and shared messages
of reconciliation. The date for the Continental Day of Prayer and Fasting must be
publicized widely from now to mobilize all stakeholders towards its success.
f) The Council resolves to engage in in-depth negotiations aimed at launching a
comprehensive peace campaign for Sudan, and reinforced by targeted online advocacy
campaigns that actively involves youth in promoting messages of peace and reconciliation.
g) Provide psychosocial and trauma-healing support to Sudanese refugees and internally
displaced persons in partnership with humanitarian agencies.
h) The Council, while condemning the violence and defamatory acts, commits to intensifying
efforts to channel humanitarian aid to Sudan and other refugee camps, ensuring that those
affected receive timely relief and dignity in care.
